Located at Fort McPherson Georgia, I am currently working for Serco-NA International under a government contract as an Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP) counselor. The purpose of ACAP is to assist military service members transition from active military service to civilian life. This includes facilitating Resume, Interviewing and Federal Job Application seminars. Assist with resume writing and job hunting. Manage Employer Days and Job Fairs. Conduct weekly Pre-Separation Briefings on benefits that the Army offers to transitioners including relocation assistance, employment assistance, financial management assistance, health and life insurance, and reserve affiliation; as well as training on interview techniques, using the federal job application system.

Those I have worked with would describe me as a passionate leader with a broad spectrum of knowledge who thrives on challenges which offers me an opportunity to learn and grow. They would say that I am a detail orientated hard worker, who work well with complex tasks. They would also say that I work well with a team and enjoy sharing my knowledge, expertise and mentoring those around me.

I chose to accept my current position because I wanted to give back to our soldiers. They sacrifice so much for our nation, I felt obligated to honor their service with my professional abilities and experience.
